Well after two months with out writing any thing I guess it 's time. My reason for waiting so long is I want to send some picture's from our last trip, but didn't know how to send them. Any way the trip was very interesting it was up to New England to Quebec Canada. The autum colors were just beautiful and the lobster was big. Quebec was part of my mission when I served back in 1957 to 1958. It had changed some what but still speaks French. They didn't like you speaking English to them then and still don't now. The only way missionarys were ever allowed in there was a Jehovah Witness was murdered on a door step. So it was taken to court and they won so that allowed other missionarys in there. Isn't it strange how somethings have to happen to bring the lords work in to play. Well as soon as Santa teachs me how to send picture's I will be up with the rest of you. Anyway thats what I have ask for Christmas rather than my front teeth ha!
Have yourself's Happy Holidays. Old Auntie is still up the creek with out a paddle as you can see.

Well it's about time I guess I get off my vacation and get something else done. I finished my therapy this week so we will see if I can put this old arm to work. What beautiful weather in getting the garden cleaned up and in the bottles for winter. We have decide to replace our old fence in the back yard and have been in the process of taking the old one down. Man for the garbage under neath it after living here for thirty three years. Hope we will look cleaner and brighter when it's all done with a smile on our face.
Say I want to inform you all family members that your blogs are like the new paper to me. I love the picture's and the news of your coming's and agoing. Please keep them up dated, specially any information for Genealogy.
The only way your face knows that your happy is the smile you have, until then keep a smile in your heart.

Always on a vacation...

It is very seldom that I am home cleaning house or lounging in the rocking chair. I have so much energy and so full of life that I am always out on an adventure. I have traveled many places all over the world. Here is my photo of when I was in England.

Thank you who ever changed the back ground to my blog by adding some flowers. I need all the help I can get these day's. Some day I hope I learn what I'm doing. I must say it's a learning experience for this old seventy five lady. I love flowers so I think maybe my sis put them on there for she works at florist shop. The way to go I'll take anything for the change.

Well as you can see by the picture I have been doing some traveling. It was a long trip by donkey can you see ha! Our trip took us to four different place's. England to start out with, then to Wales, Ireland, and Scotland. We traveled 3500 miles by coach and 150 miles by water. Oh and I forgot and part of that was by donkey ha!
The highlight of the trip though was going to Northampton England where our ancestors came from. I have pictures to prove that I was there. I did fine a few head stone's and names to follow up on.
Ireland was the best part so green and their yards and homes were well kept. Their homes were painted many bright colors which made them very attractive. It wasn't as clean and well kept as going north toward Belfast. That was interesting to see the area where all the fighting has been taking place over religions. Another interesting place was liverpool where the Beatles was from and the Bar where they got started.
There were many other interesting things we saw, but maybe it best to share some of that later.
It was a very enjoyable trip lots of beautiful scenery and most of all it only rain two afternoons on us in three weeks. I guess we left it behind us at home. Thanks for the good weather in our travels this time.

My fingers doing the walking

What fun it was today reading all your blogs. I wish I could be that clever as some of you. Yes I feel like I'm in a rut some times also. But reading all your cute blogs picks me up and I think I'm young again. One thing is I'm still trying to get my arm to go up. If you see this old lady standing near a wall runing her right hand up the wall you'll know you've found Aunt Leen. Thankful to have a right arm. Well happy day you all until next time in the movie's.
